There is an interesting fact about Sitka Black-tailed type animals that they are color-blind and cannot see stationary objects. But the slightest movement attracts their attention; even the blinking of an eyelid makes Sitka Black-tailed type freeze and study the object or sends an alerted animal running for safety.
