The Sitka Black tailed type animal (Odocoileus hemionus sitkensis) is a subspecies of the Mule type. It is smaller, stockier, and has a shorter face then other black-tailed animal. In summer, Sitka type animal’s coats are chestnut or reddish-brown with white uneven spots.
