Record Whitetail

A record whitetail can be obtained from any farm, along with conservation status of the species. Most animals (particularly males) mate in their second year, although some females occasionally mate as young as seven months. Bucks are polygamous although they may form an attachment and stay with a single doe for several days or even weeks until she reaches oestrus. The lifespan of the animal is about 15-17 in captivity and 10-12 years in the wild. These creatures are 50-80 inches long with tail and weigh about 120 pounds (54 kg) for males, 80 pounds (36 kg) for females. Bucks up to 200 pounds have been reported. A record whitetail can be obtained from any farm, along with conservation status of the species.
